Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Second Language Specialist located in Bronx, NY. The specialist will be responsible for teaching English as a second language, developing lesson plans, and offering academic support to non-native English speakers. Daily tasks include assessing students' language abilities, preparing engaging instructional materials, and implementing individualized education plans to meet diverse student needs. Collaboration with other educators and participation in professional development activities is also expected.

Qualifications

• Skills in English Teaching, Teaching, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language
• Experience in Education and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field required; TESOL/TEFL certification preferred
• Experience working with middle school-aged children is a plus

Salary Range

• $65,000 - $70,000
