ARC Counselor
: Job Details :

The Counselor will meet with a caseload of individuals for biweekly scheduled appointments and provide crisis counseling as necessary. The Counselor will also conduct weekly counseling, education, and/or Bible/prayer groups, record and submit statistical information, assist with intake as required, administer compliance screening for prohibited substances, and attend staff meetings, retreats, conferences, and other Salvation Army events as assigned. Qualifications The successful candidate will have and Associate's degree in counseling or related field, have working knowledge of issues such as substance abuse, homelessness, displacement, etc., and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
