: Job Details :

Patient evaluation by performing appropriate history and physical exams. Ordering laboratory, radiological and special studies Performing diagnostic procedures such as, but not limited to, physical examination, phlebotomy, catheterization, joint injections and aspirations and administering of vaccines. Performing therapeutic procedures such as, but not limited to, suturing of wounds, foreign body removal, I&D of abscesses, reduction of fractures and dislocations, splinting, casting, and injections. Assisting the surgeon in the OR as designated. Reading and interpreting imaging studies and laboratory reports. Initiation of life-saving measures as needed. Diagnosing and treating minor illnesses of employees of EmergeOrtho, P. A. Telephone contact with patients as appropriate. Other Involvement in QI and research programs. Attendance at educational and department meetings. Intermittent OR, UC, and other clinic coverage required.
