Overview

Director, Manufacturing & Supply Chain Digital Systems at Anduril Industries. Anduril is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, including autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking. Our Lattice OS powers a realtime, 3D command and control center, enabling rapid development and deployment of complex systems.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Business Systems team builds the ArsenalOS system-of-systems, including ProdOS for manufacturing and supply chain. As the Director of ProdOS, you will own the design, development and delivery of digital supply chain and manufacturing systems across product lines. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team of product managers, software and enterprise engineers, data analysts, solution and business process architects, and other technologists to deliver solutions that elevate manufacturing and supply chain performance.

You will build cross-functional partnerships and lead through influence in areas such as digital tools, process development, test engineering, supply chain, material handling, and manufacturing engineering. You will develop a detailed understanding of each team's challenges, architect and build solutions, drive adoption, and provide operational leverage to customer organizations. You must be an agile, generalist product thinker who can dive into workflows, analyze system metrics, map dependencies to build a coherent roadmap, and update executives on current and future program status.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop the ProdOS vision for Anduril, ensuring our internal tech stack maximizes impact for Manufacturing and Supply Chain users across the hardware development cycle.
  • Serve as the single threaded leader for ProdOS, orchestrating investments across Software PMs and engineers, Analytics Engineers, Solution and Business Architects, Sysadmins, and others within Corporate Technology; act as the point of contact between CorpTech and Manufacturing/Supply Chain departments.
  • Craft a ProdOS roadmap that is outcome-driven and prioritizes urgent vs. important work.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on progress and roadmap; monitor and report on program performance to ensure business outcomes are met.
  • Drive adoption and enablement through change management tools, schedules, training, sandbox environments, piloting, and user engagement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in Product or Program Management, coordinating technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience at advanced and scaled manufacturing companies (e.g., automotive, aerospace, defense, semiconductor)
  • Expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes and related software tools (MES, IIoT/Industry 4.0, PLM, QMS, Config/Change Management, ERP)
  • Experience developing both 1P (built) and 3P (bought) enterprise systems; strong understanding of access controls/security, infrastructure, feature development, configuration, administration, integrations, etc.
  • Experience coordinating diverse technologist skillsets (software PMs/engineers, enterprise systems, data engineers, analysts)
  • Exposure to various manufacturing processes and types (continuous, batch)
  • Analytical, data-driven decision maker; ability to capture/enrich data where lacking
  • Strong critical thinking; ability to challenge traditional approaches beyond defaulting to new software
  • Experience influencing stakeholders from shop floor to boardroom, with vision-setting, culture, program updates, and postmortems
  • Proven ability to decompose problems and arrange correct sequencing
  • Ability to craft a 12-18 month strategy and anticipate future needs
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and project management skills
  • Systemic thinking, decisive action, and a focus on business outcomes
  • Willingness to travel up to 33% of the time
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering background in robotics, process automation, software/data engineering, manufacturing analytics, and applied ML/AI
  • Understanding of modern software engineering paradigms: API-first design, event-driven architecture, microservices, loosely coupled systems
  • Knowledge of industrial controls and test engineering interfaces, including industrial protocols, driver development, and data handling
  • Appreciation for virtual-first tools such as digital builds for DFx, safety, ergonomic assessments, and virtual commissioning
