Job Description :

Well established Community Bank is looking to hire a MARKET PRESIDENT to join the team leading the strategic initiatives in the Middle Georgia area. The Market President will lead and oversee all market operations, strategic initiatives, and business development activities. The successful candidate will be an experienced banker to lead, coach, manage and inspire a commercial banking team to expand the Middle Georgia footprint. This team will identify, develop, manage, service, retain and grow long-term profitable commercial relationships for clients. We offer a full range of loan, deposit, and fee-based services to existing and prospective commercial clients. The successful candidate will be differentiated based on years of commercial banking experience, portfolio size, and overall potential in the role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive market strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve operational performance.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community leaders.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and public forums.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Use insights to inform strategic decisions and initiatives.
  • Ensure all operations comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance market position.
  • Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Finance
  • 10 years of Commercial Lending & Management experience
  • Experience with Jack Henry Products is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
