Location: Remote (Charlotte, NC area preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The People Connector will serve as the primary relationship manager for UGT's consulting workforce. This role ensures consultants feel supported, informed, and connected throughout their engagement with UGT. Acting as the voice of the company, the People Connector will maintain frequent communication, monitor consultant satisfaction, and proactively resolve issues — strengthening retention and consultant performance.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Support

  • Serve as the main point of contact for consultants during their assignments.
  • Check in regularly to monitor project satisfaction, workload, and overall experience.
  • Coordinate with delivery operations, recruiters, and account managers to resolve consultant concerns quickly.
  • Manage consultant milestones (onboarding, anniversaries, renewals, contract changes).

Relationship Management

  • Build strong, ongoing relationships with consultants and clients.
  • Act as a bridge between recruiting, operations, and consultants to ensure seamless transitions and alignment.
  • Proactively identify potential retention risks and escalate as needed.

Communication & Outreach

  • Share company updates, benefits information, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Support company events, engagement campaigns, and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to highlight consultant success stories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years in account management, employee relations, or HR engagement role — preferably in staffing or consulting.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Crelate) is a plus.
