Hospice Administrator / Executive Director (RN)
Brighton/Suncrest Hospice aims to change the expectation of hospice care in the area by providing exceptional care and service to patients. This is achieved by allocating resources to increase staff-to-patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits while lowering clinician caseloads. We are CHAP certified. Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction of the location's services.
- Establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services that meet quality standards and align with the organization's philosophy.
- Hire qualified hospice personnel and oversee provision of hospice services, including delegation to and coordination of personnel evaluations.
- Establish standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
- Review and monitor sales and service performance.
- Support, build, and sustain a diverse team that consistently delivers on objectives and goals.
- A dynamic leader who sets a high bar and inspires others to reach it.
- Communicate clearly and maintain effective relationships with team members to problem-solve in an educational and cooperative manner.
- Demonstrate strong leadership with organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
- Motivate, mentor, and influence others through solid interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience in customer relations and clinical development.
- Administrative Management: 2 years
- Health-related industry: 2 years
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or preferred Bachelor's or master's Degree in a health-related field
- Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
