This role involves enforcing pool rules, assisting guests, and ensuring the pool area meets club cleanliness and safety standards.Duties and responsibilities.
- Greet and welcome guests to the pool area; consistently provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Monitor pool access by checking pool passes or guest lists to ensure only authorized individuals are using the facility.
- Enforce all pool rules (e.g., no running, no glass containers) to ensure a safe and respectful environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area by organizing chairs, picking up trash, and wiping down surfaces
- Assist guests with pool chairs, umbrellas, and general inquiries
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken furniture, unclean water, or equipment malfunctions) to management promptly
- Close and secure pool area at the end of the day.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Working conditionsWork is primarily outdoors. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf's Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance team member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other staff member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance.
