Colorado Mesa University is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor of nursing or an assistant clinical professor of nursing position for the LPN to BSN Program. The LPN to BSN Program is a 1-year program with one cohort at a time. The students have passed their Licensed Practical Nursing exam and are now finishing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to prepare for the RN NCLEX exam. The teaching responsibilities for this position are dependent on the applicants specialty and experiences. The standard teaching load is 12 course credit hours per semester or 24 credits over an academic year. This position has an ongoing responsibility for curriculum development, planning, teaching, guiding, monitoring, and evaluating student learning in the classroom and practice settings to improve courses and clinical experiences.
