LOCALS ONLY - Field work is required in the areas surrounding Spring Valley, NY

Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm/8am-5pm (approx)

We are looking for an on-site construction safety manager for various electrical construction projects consisting of electric substation breaker upgrades, relay upgrades, and generating station upgrades; various civil construction projects consisting of concrete structure rehabilitations, demolitions, and earthworks; and mechanical projects consisting of equipment upgrades and overhead crane upgrades.

You will be responsible for:

• Enforcing safety programs during construction.
• Development of activity hazard assessments.
• Contractor oversight.
• Review and management of safety submittals.
• Safety documentation, safety audits, corrective actions.
• Daily on-site safety meetings.

Qualifications:

• At least 8-10 years of related construction safety experience is required.
• Ability to utilize computer software (Microsoft Office).
• BS in a basic science OR technical degree in the field of EHS management, OR relevant work experience in EH&S
