Overview Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reconciliations and daily operations during the overnight shift while ensuring accuracy, guest satisfaction, and safety. The Night Auditor serves as the primary contact for guests during nighttime hours and ensures all audit tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with professionalism and a sincere welcome, listening attentively to requests and concerns.
- Organize and complete shift tasks including verifying reservations, running contingency reports, resolving discrepancies, confirming no-shows, and completing walk reports.
- Balance city ledger, room revenue, and food & beverage postings; prepare and distribute daily financial summaries.
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and billing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct hotel tours to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards; report and follow up on deficiencies.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues, escalating concerns as necessary to management.
- Accurately input and retrieve information from hotel systems; promote Hilton Honors and other brand programs.
- Handle guest payments, vouchers, credit cards, and traveler's checks with accuracy.
- Answer phones and emails promptly, process guest requests, and manage messages/packages as needed.
- Address guest complaints with patience and diplomacy, remaining calm under pressure and during emergencies.
- Operate company vehicle safely when assisting with guest transportation.
- Support teammates and maintain clear communication across shifts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications Requirements
- Proficiency with hotel reservation and accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to resolve conflicts with professionalism, tact, and patience.
- Computer literacy with the ability to input data accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures (fire, theft, natural disaster).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work overnight schedules.
- Commitment to Hilton brand standards including check-in accuracy, Hilton Honors enrollment, HotSOS usage, and training completion.
