Job Details- Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Assures that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
- Responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
Job Requirements- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
