POSITION TITLE: Residential Service Coordinator LOCATION: Walton, Kentucky STATUS: Full Time,Salaried, Exempt PROGRAM: Developmental Disability Services REPORTS TO: Director of Developmental Disability Services INTRODUCTION: Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a nonprofit group that helps people in need in four states. We give housing to families, veterans, and low-income seniors. We also support people with developmental disabilities and help communities through programs like HIV education and justice services. You'll support them in their homes and communities. You'll help make sure their support plans are followed, their goals are met, and their homes are safe and clean. You will also supervise House Managers and work with families and other care teams. WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE: A college degree (preferred), OR experience working with people with developmental disabilities A valid Kentucky driver's license RESPONSIBILITIES: Make sure our homes follow all safety and care rules Check that homes are clean and safe for the people who live there Help create and follow each person's support plan Write and turn in monthly reports Keep track of each person's progress toward their goals Keep personal files up to date and follow rules Help train new staff and track their training Work with families, guardians, day programs, and others Attend team and planning meetings Help people get benefits like food stamps and housing support Make sure the quality of services stays high Manage household budgets and keep records Do other tasks as needed to support our mission Join in our quality improvement efforts We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
