A packaging manufacturer near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their plant. This is a senior leadership position that reports to the Company President. You will oversee sales & marketing activities, ensuring business development & brand identity are in position to meet company goals. The ideal candidate will have several years of sales & marketing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, and preferably with flexible packaging. THIS POSITION IS REMOTE | UP TO 50% TRAVEL | EXPECTED TO VISIT ONSITE OCCASIONALLY This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Responsibilities: Develop & apply sales & marketing strategies Forecast, implement, & meet sales targets Manage customer service & sales team (lead & encourage to meet targets) Oversee major accounts & build client relationships Monitor brand positioning & marketing campaigns Manage digital marketing & public relations Maintain communication with product & operations teams Work with Finance (budgets & forecasts) Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing required (MBA preferred) Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales & marketing Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales & marketing leadership (preferably in flexible packaging Experience in driving revenue & increasing market share Strong knowledge of digital marketing (utilizing CRM tools & data analytics) Strong negotiation skills Advanced leadership & communication skills Available to travel up to 50% Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 20 pounds Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
