Job Description :

Spray Equipment & Service Center is looking for a highly motivated and organized Human Resource Business Partner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in executing daily human resource functions across multiple locations in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role supports recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR policy implementation while working closely with management to establish ways to increase employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and background checks.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding processes across multiple states.

Employee Relations & Communication

  • Promote company culture and ensure consistent communication between field and corporate staff.
  • Assist with performance management.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Support Director of HR on internal communication strategies and special projects.

Compliance & Record Keeping

  • Maintain compliance with federal and multi-state labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Ensure proper documentation of personnel records and HR processes.
  • Assist in audits and reporting as required.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate employee training and compliance tracking.
  • Support professional development programs.

HR Policy & Program Support

  • Support the rollout of HR programs, safety initiatives, and training efforts.
  • Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies in accordance with law changes.
  • Maintain HRIS records and prepare regular workforce reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
