Direct Hire Position! Looking for candidates throughout the state of Indiana.
- Meet with clients regularly, no less than once a month - determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Provide Adoption & Guardianship Support Services as needed and as assigned
- Engage and assist family participation in the treatment planning process - assist clients in building skills such as parenting techniques, appropriate discipline, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and responsible thinking
- Coordinate and manage educational, vocational, recreational and other services.
- Accompany and support clients for court appearances
- Provide support for clients, including emergency and crisis consultation on a 24-hour basis.
- Maintain clear, detailed, and accurate client documentation records.
- Maintain a working vehicle and legally authorized driving record.
- Comply with required in-service/continuing education hours
- Demonstrate respect and cultural sensitivity at all times.
- Attain/maintain CPR & First Aid Certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or similar
- Meet requirements of Evidence-Based Practices being used for this service
- 18+ months experience in adoption/guardianship and/or child welfare
- Minimum 2 years experience in social work field
