This position is pending final approval. This is a 19-hour per week regular part-time position. Under supervision, performs routine clerical work in support of service to library patrons; and performs other work as assigned. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Library Assistant is the entry class for the Library Services series. Library Assistant is distinguished from the Library Technician in that the latter is the full working level class and may be given full charge of daily operations in a Branch library or provide library patron services in the main library.
