Overview

Our client is large well-funded Private Equity/Real Estate Fund with over a 20 year track record or responsible investing. Currently seeking to add a VP/Director of Real Estate Investments, select individual will be responsible for acquisitions/investment, for the Firms' $100B investment portfolio.

Core Strategies

Core Strategies include but not limited to: High-End Class A Office, data center, Medical and industrial or commercial investments.

Responsibilities

  • The role will ensure that real estate initiatives support the company's business objectives, operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Vice President/Director of Acquisitions will report to the Managing Director, Acquisitions and will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms' brand and manage the full life-cycle acquisitions process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities
  • Direct the analysis of target markets, identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies
  • Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience with commercial Real Estate
  • Top Academic pedigree required
  • CFA/MBA strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends
  • Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
