Sigma Systems isseeking a Facilities Project Manager for a 1-year on-site contract in Warwick, RI. This role is responsible for overseeing building operations, maintenance, repair, and construction projects across organizational facilities. The Facilities Project Manager will manage skilled and semi-skilled tradespeople, external contractors, and ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage, plan, and direct facilities maintenance and repair projects.
Oversee and coordinate contractors, tradespeople, and staff.
Conduct regular inspections and develop preventive and contingency maintenance plans.
Prepare and manage departmental goals, budgets, and support contracts.
Supervise the preparation of maintenance records, reports, and supply requisitions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, occupational hazards procedures, and regulations.
Draft and review sketches, plans, and blueprints for building improvements or alterations.
Estimate required materials, equipment, and resources for facility projects.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align facility operations with organizational goals.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2+ years' experience in building or plant maintenance leadership, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, construction practices, and preventive maintenance systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and reporting skills; ability to lead teams effectively.
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, working drawings, and sketches.
Valid driver's license and insurability required.
Must pass a background investigation.
Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
Standing, walking, kneeling, and stooping for extended periods.
Frequent computer and office-based work.
Primarily climate-controlled office setting, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions during inspections.
