02nd September, 2025The Wilner Group is partnering with a well-established consulting engineering firm, founded in 1976 and recognized for delivering comprehensive engineering solutions. We're seeking an experienced Assistant Project Engineer - Geotechnical to join their team on-site in Parsippany, NJ.Responsibilities:
- Solve complex engineering problems and calculations using advanced formulas and methods.
- Evaluate research findings and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist Project Engineers with proposal estimates, project scheduling, and staffing plans.
- Oversee and guide field personnel as needed.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license counts toward experience).
- 3-5 years of relevant field or project management experience.
- EIT or PE preferred (or ability to obtain PE within 2 years).
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Additional certifications (ACI, NICET, NJ DCA Special Inspector) a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, NitroPro, GSLOPE, KeyWall, Rocscience, MS Office.
Compensation $90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience). Benefits
