02nd September, 2025The Wilner Group is partnering with a well-established consulting engineering firm, founded in 1976 and recognized for delivering comprehensive engineering solutions. We're seeking an experienced Assistant Project Engineer - Geotechnical to join their team on-site in Parsippany, NJ.Responsibilities:
  • Solve complex engineering problems and calculations using advanced formulas and methods.
  • Evaluate research findings and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist Project Engineers with proposal estimates, project scheduling, and staffing plans.
  • Oversee and guide field personnel as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license counts toward experience).
  • 3-5 years of relevant field or project management experience.
  • EIT or PE preferred (or ability to obtain PE within 2 years).
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Additional certifications (ACI, NICET, NJ DCA Special Inspector) a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, NitroPro, GSLOPE, KeyWall, Rocscience, MS Office.
Compensation $90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience). Benefits
