Overview
Oberon Securities, headquartered in New York City, is seeking a seasoned Managing Director with specialized expertise in mergers and acquisitions. The role focuses on sourcing and executing investment banking transactions, particularly within the middle-market segment.
Responsibilities
- Source and execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions for privately owned and small-cap publicly traded companies across various industries.
- Structure and raise debt and growth equity capital as part of our advisory services.
- Lead deal execution efforts, coordinate with junior bankers, and manage client relationships to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of investment banking experience, with a strong track record in mergers & acquisitions and/or debt advisory/capital markets.
- Industry specialization in one of the following sectors: business services, industrial/manufacturing, consumer products/services, data, insights and analytics, tech/software, or healthcare services.
- Proven ability to source deals, close transactions, and demonstrate effective leadership.
- Self-motivated with strong networking and communication skills.
