About Great QuestionGreat Question is the all-in-one customer research platform for understanding your customers. Our platform enables teams to recruit participants, run research, and share insights – all in one place. Backed by world-class investors and trusted by industry-leading teams like Gusto, Experian, Canva, and Brex, we're building the future of customer research. We believe AI is a multiplier for creativity, speed, and scale. Everyone on the team is encouraged to lean into AI, not just to be more efficient, but to push boundaries and unlock new possibilities. Whether you're writing, designing, coding, or analyzing, we expect you to explore how AI can elevate your craft. Our culture is built on high trust, high agency, and high emotional intelligence. If you're looking for a place where your voice matters, where work is fun, and where you\'re empowered to do your best - join us in redefining user research.

Our ValuesAt Great Question, we're building more than just a product, we\'re building a culture grounded in values that drive how we work:

  • Solve for the customer: Everything we do, from product decisions to marketing strategies, starts with a simple question: does this serve our customers' needs?
  • Quality matters: We balance speed with intention, aiming to build a product that people trust and love.
  • We ship: Speed is part of our DNA. We prioritize getting valuable work into the hands of customers early and often.
  • Continuous improvement: Feedback is fuel. We thrive on learning from peers, customers, and each other.

And we believe the best work happens in an environment that supports trust, creativity, and ownership:

  • Froth: We leave room for fun. Work should be energizing, not draining.
  • Disagree and commit: Healthy debate is welcomed. Once a path is chosen, we unite and move forward together.
  • Sign your name: We take pride in our work and follow through on our commitments with excellence and accountability.
What You'll Do
  • Product Leadership: Guide and coach PMs while personally owning key product initiatives; grow the team from 2 to 4+ PMs over the next year.
  • Organizational Design: Help define the right product org structure (e.g., squad zoning vs. centralized planning) to support autonomy and velocity.
  • Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, and Head of Design to drive the product roadmap, refine our strategic bets, and deliver impactful features quickly.
  • AI Innovation: Leverage AI tooling and shape product experiences infused with AI. Ideally, you've built and shipped AI products and know how to evaluate emerging AI tech critically.
  • Metrics & Measurement: Ensure the right data is tracked and used to inform decisions. Champion outcome-oriented thinking.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Be the connective tissue between product, engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and go-to-market teams.
  • Commercial Thinking: Bring a business mindset — thinking not just about UX and usability but also about growth, pricing, retention, and revenue impact.
What We're Looking For
  • 7–12 years of experience in product management, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Head of Product, Director, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience building AI-driven products or a strong portfolio using AI tools in product development.
  • Experience at early-stage, fast-growing companies — ideally from Series A through B/C — and a desire to do it again.
  • Strong product instincts with a founder's mindset. Prior entrepreneurial experience (e.g., starting a company or building 0→1) is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain product talent.
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills; you bring structure to chaos and clarity to ambiguity.
  • Commercial acumen — you're comfortable discussing growth models, pricing, and business strategy.
  • Located in the North America and able to work Pacific Time Zone hours. (CEO is based in the Bay Area, CTO in Colorado.)
Why You'll Love Working Here
  • A culture of customer obsession and curiosity
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a critical business function
  • Remote-first culture with high trust and high autonomy
  • Annual team retreats and virtual events
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI integrations that matter
  • Competitive compensation & equity
  • Generous PTO, health benefits, and learning stipend
