Job Description :

A mid-sized design and merchandising firm is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire position ideal for an HR professional looking to expand their career while supporting a dynamic and people-focused environment.

On-site schedule: 5 days per week

Hours: 9:00am6:00pm

Compensation: $110-130K base salary + benefits + seasonal early Friday close

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to support full-cycle recruitment and coordinate hiring processes across departments
  • Administer employee onboarding, data management, and offboarding procedures
  • Prepare and deliver employment offers in alignment with internal policies
  • Guide benefits review processes and support enrollment decisions
  • Coordinate bi-annual performance review cycles and track progress
  • Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture by facilitating employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate on training, coaching, and leadership development efforts across teams
  • Assist in succession planning and support employee career development
  • Monitor compliance with employment laws across multiple states and ensure company policies reflect best practices
  • Provide direction on leave management, HR policy, and risk mitigation
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a multi-site or field-based role
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Proven ability to build trust and collaborate with leaders at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
  • Able to analyze employee data and engagement trends to inform strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
