RoleThe Philadelphia Health Practice of Milliman is seeking a full-time actuarial analyst who is completing a degree in December 2025 and able to start working by January 2026. We are looking for an individual capable of database analysis, spreadsheet creation, and drafting correspondence with a keen eye to detail. An entry-level hire would assist our analysts and consultants in the development, checking, and utilization of actuarial models to further completion of timely deliverables.
QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program with a focus in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field with an expected graduation in December 2025. GPA 3.5 or above. Successfully completed two or more Society of Actuaries exams. Relevant internship experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; programming knowledge a plus (SAS, SQL, VBA, Python, R). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good attitude and strong work ethic required.
LocationThis role is based out of the Milliman office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.
CompensationThe overall salary range for this role is $60,300 - $126,840. For candidates residing in: Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $66,330 - $116,270. New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $72,360 - $126,840. All other locations the salary range is $60,300 - $105,700. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
