Care Coordinator

TEKsystems is seeking Care Coordinators to support a high-impact healthcare program. In this role, you will guide patients and providers through the complexities of pharmaceutical benefits and access programs. You'll serve as a key liaison, ensuring patients receive thesupport they need to access prescribed therapies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on benefit coordination and patient support services
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, and pharmacies
  • Verify insurance benefits and navigate prior authorizations and appeals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow program SOPs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless patient journeys
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while acting as a program representative

Qualifications Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in healthcare reimbursement, insurance verification, or billing
  • Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance terminology
  • Experience with HUB services, case management, and patient accounting
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Reliable, empathetic, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CoPay programs, QuickPath, and patient affordability initiatives
  • Familiarity with commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD)

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
