Duties
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
- 3-4 years of practice experience, preferably in insurance defense.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse clientele and colleagues.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn database management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
