?? What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team (mechanical + electrical) focused on sustaining and improving legacy products
- Drive key initiatives including cost reductionquality improvements, and design optimization
- Act as a cross-functional liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, field service, and product teams
- Own the root cause analysis and corrective action process for field and production issues
- Oversee documentation updates—drawings, BOMs, manuals—and ensure alignment with internal protocols
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards
- Identify opportunities for standardization, efficiency, and scalability within the product line
- Contribute to global engineering efforts and continuous improvement projects
?? What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of engineering experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial equipment
- Proven track record in engineering leadership, mentorship, and team development
- Strong technical foundation in mechanical systems, with working knowledge of electrical components
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Experience with sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management
- Familiarity with engineering best practices like FMEA, DFMA, and RCA
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in the shop or on-site
