SALARY RANGE: $80,000-$90,000/year based on experience and interview outcome

JOB SUMMARY
The Laboratory Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will work closely with the Director of Safety and the Laboratory Technical Director to ensure safe working environments and compliance across all company sites. The incumbent will have a strong understanding of state and federal safety regulations, and have some experience with EPA pesticide practices. Prior knowledge of laboratory safety, handling, and storage practices is required. This role will require auditing and maintaining current safety and storage processes across all company locations and ensure continued success for growth.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The working environment will be primarily on-site in a laboratory and chemical processing facility with a hybrid schedule as allowed. Must be able to follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE all at times. Incumbent must be able to stand, bend, walk, move, kneel, reach over head, and have the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Travel for incident response will be required at times. Travel to other sites as needed.
