As a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center, we serve communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester County. We are currently looking for a full-time Dental Care Specialist to enhance our team.

About the Role:

As a Dental Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health by delivering exceptional dental hygiene services to both adult and pediatric patients. Under the guidance of our dentists, your mission will include:

• Performing thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, stains, and deposits.
• Administering dental prophylaxes, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants.
• Conducting periodontal charting to assist in creating personalized treatment plans.
• Taking and exposing X-ray films at the request of the supervising dentist.
• Providing patient education on oral hygiene, tobacco cessation, and nutritional guidance.
• Ensuring compliance with New York State dental regulations and performing tasks delegated by licensed dentists.
• Delivering HeadStart and ABCD visual oral health screenings.

What We're Looking For:

You will need:

• An Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene.
• A valid New York State license to practice as a dental hygienist.
• CPR Certification.
• A valid NYS driver's license.
• Knowledge of bilingual communication in English and Spanish is preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $87,760.40 - $93,020.20 annually (pro-rated based on hours). This is an opportunity to become part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving community health.
