The Medical Assistant is responsible for participating in the provision of professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Providers, and the Practice Manager. What Youll Do:Participate in patient care in-person, via phone screening, and telehealth under provider supervision. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, immunizations, and perform point-of-care testing. Collect and screen patient history and health-related information, and communicate findings to providers. Relay provider instructions and care plans to patients. Accurately document procedures, interventions, communications, and test results in the medical record. Who You Are:High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 3 years of equivalent experience. Current BLS/ CPR certification required. One year of experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting preferred.
