It is the responsibility of every Novant Health team member to deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. Manage and process patient referrals by collecting all necessary information, verifying insurance coverage, and clearly explaining referral procedures to ensure timely patient care. Serve as a preceptor by training team members on the efficient use of the electronic health record system (EPIC). Provide clerical support by filling in at the front desk and demonstrating flexibility to work across multiple office locations as needed. Deliver excellent patient communication and administrative support by addressing inquiries related to insurance and appointments, as well as assisting with scheduling, managing work queues and updating patient records. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: Three years of experience in a medical office setting, required.
