We have multiple opportunities available! Positions are typically 2 - 4 hours per day 1. Current college/university students (flexible scheduling options, works around college schedules)2. Graduates from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree or higher. Under direct supervision of the Principal and AVID Coordinator and with the assistance of the AVID elective teacher, performs tasks in the tutoring and mentoring of students in the AVID program. Examples of Duties Take an active role in developing the academic and personal strengths of AVID students. Serve as a role model/mentor to AVID students by being a lifelong learner, demonstrating appropriate academic and social behaviors, and wearing appropriate attire at all times. Determine from student's notes and discussions, the concepts that need to be taught or retaught. Assist the classroom teacher in reviewing student binders, including calendars, class and textbook notes, etc. Become familiar with the materials...Tutor, Program, Student
