Property Administrator

Our client is seeking a Property Administrator to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, onsite role where you will support the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager in maintaining and enhancing our client's commercial real estate portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone with residential real estate experience looking to get into commercial!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Property Operations: Assist with day-to-day operations, including maintenance, security, and risk management.
  • Tenant Relations: Act as a key point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Lease & Financial Support: Help with lease administration, abstracting new leases, managing rent collection, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate property files, including records for HVAC systems, roofs, and other building components.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for services and repairs.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary administrative support for the Property Manager, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

What You Bring:

  • Previous property administration experience in the real estate industry highly preferred and prioritized
  • Strong understanding of real estate, including AP/AR, marketing, and tenant relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of property management software like MRI or Yardi is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Salary: $55,000 - $61,000, based on experience.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Location: Fully on-site in Dallas, TX.
