JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and implement workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe work environment.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain OSHA compliance and overall safe work environment.
  • Developing and delivering safety training materials.
  • Conducting workplace inspections and audits.
  • Investigating workplace accidents and near misses.
  • Preparing safety reports for management.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to address safety concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a safety or similar role
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Have full use of arms and hands and the ability to reach for, handle and manipulate objects
  • Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 25 to 50 lbs.
  • Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
  • Carry tools and equipment
  • Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
  • Be able to see (naturally or with correction)
