JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop and implement workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Maintain OSHA compliance and overall safe work environment.
- Developing and delivering safety training materials.
- Conducting workplace inspections and audits.
- Investigating workplace accidents and near misses.
- Preparing safety reports for management.
- Monitoring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to address safety concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a safety or similar role
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Have full use of arms and hands and the ability to reach for, handle and manipulate objects
- Frequently lift and carry materials weighing 25 to 50 lbs.
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
- Carry tools and equipment
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl for long periods of time
- Be able to see (naturally or with correction)
