Position: Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems. This role involves applying engineering principles to the planning, development, and integration of mechanical systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and thermal/hydraulic or heat transfer systems.
You will contribute to both design and manufacturing processes in a model-based engineering environment, ensuring systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop mechanical products and systems, including engines, machines, controls, and heat transfer systems.
- Apply engineering research and principles to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Support the integration of engineering procedures with manufacturing processes and production methods.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to solve complex technical challenges.
- Adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and evolving project requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).
- 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or entry-level with a master's degree.
Preferred/Desired Skills
- Experience with carrier engineering technical authority and build authority documents
- Mechanical engineering experience within the carrier program (highly preferred).
- Proficiency with Team Center, NGP, NX, and SAP (preferred, not required).
- Strong ability to learn quickly, collaborate on teams, and embrace change in a fast-paced environment.
