Overview

Captivate. Inspire. Transform. This is your stage to orchestrate transformative experiences that convince affluent families to invest in their children's future with Alpha. Far beyond logistics coordination, you'll be the visionary who designs and delivers events that showcase our revolutionary educational model to families making seven-figure decisions about their children's education. If you don't fundamentally believe in pushing boundaries, celebrating academic excellence, and setting extraordinary standards that unlock human potential, look elsewhere.

Alpha stands apart from traditional education by delivering a concentrated academic experience—two hours that replace an entire school day through our proprietary blend of adaptive technology, expert guidance, and immersive challenges. The outcome? Accelerated learning, freedom for real-world application, and pathways to elite opportunities. As we launch 25 new locations nationwide in the coming year, you'll spearhead the event strategy that fuels our ambitious expansion.

Our clientele demands exceptional results and lifelong advantages for their children. Your events must deliver this message with unwavering conviction, operational precision, and authentic passion when speaking directly to parents who expect excellence without compromise.

You will define our event vision, establish quality benchmarks, and ensure brand consistency across all experiences. Success rests entirely on your shoulders—creating compelling narratives that resonate with discerning families without prescribed talking points. If you can masterfully blend event leadership with genuine advocacy for our mission, this role was designed for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Crafting and implementing a strategic events roadmap that drives enrollment among elite families seeking superior academic outcomes
  • Developing signature event frameworks—from immersive student showcases to compelling information sessions and experiential Shadow Days—that make Alpha's unique value proposition irresistible
  • Orchestrating vendor relationships, contract negotiations, payment processing, and performance evaluation across our expanding national network
  • Simultaneously directing 5-10 events with executive-level problem-solving skills and cross-departmental collaboration
  • Serving as Alpha's ambassador in high-profile settings—from commanding the stage to engaging prospective families in meaningful conversations—with the gravitas and expertise to champion our educational revolution

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Following predetermined protocols or waiting for detailed directives
  • Producing generic, forgettable events indistinguishable from conventional schools
  • Delegating Alpha's core messaging to external agencies or script-dependent presenters
  • Shying away from provocative, transformative conversations about academic excellence, accelerated learning, and measurable outcomes

Senior Event Program Director Key Responsibilities

Create and scale a distinctive events program that converts target families into passionate Alpha advocates by authentically showcasing our educational model's intensity, efficiency, and exceptional results with conviction and credibility.

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of comprehensive event management experience in dedicated event roles, handling budgets ranging from $5,000 to $50,000
  • Demonstrated capacity to intuitively understand and address the priorities, expectations, and social context of high-net-worth clientele—without micromanagement
  • Exceptional ability to articulate Alpha's educational approach and value proposition to discerning audiences, combining flawless execution with compelling narrative
  • Commanding presence, composure, and expertise in engaging both large audiences and individual prospective families
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with vendors and effective stakeholder relationship management
  • US-based with willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Professional background in educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, or startup environments
  • Financial oversight experience, including strategic budget management and procurement processes
  • Track record of successfully expanding event operations across multiple geographic markets
