Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health | State College and Clearfield, PA

Employment Type: Part-Time (32 Hours/Week)

Pay Range: $28.00-$33.00

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team and provide in-home therapy services across State College and the surrounding counties.

In this meaningful clinical role, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. What You'll Do:

  • Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT or Case Manager.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with educating patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

What You Bring:

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable physical therapy experience (required)
  • Previous home health experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
