Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, to identify an experienced Export Manager to join their growing team.

Job Description:

The Export Manager will oversee global shipping operations, ensuring compliance with trade regulations while building strong international partnerships. This role is responsible for contract negotiations, managing export documentation, and driving efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage export operations in alignment with international trade laws and customs requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Oversee export documentation including customs declarations, bills of lading, and related shipping records.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Monitor shipment activity, reporting on delivery performance and operational metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and global logistics partners.
  • Manage export-related budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (equivalent experience or CLTD/CSCP certification considered).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in export/import operations or international supply chain management.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, and trade agreements.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems such as TMS or WMS.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 5%.
