SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Medical Group - Family Practice Colonial Park is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (CNA) to join their team! This office is situated off Colonial Road in Harrisburg and houses internal medicine, family practice, and a Walk-in lab. The Family Practice Colonial Park office sees an average of 100 patients a day and operates thoroughly on a weekday schedule.
The hired Patient Care Assistant will be expected to room patients, take vitals, handle Point-of-Care testing, and clean/restock rooms. The PCA, who must have a Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA) to qualify, will also be expected to document all needed information into the EMR system and report patient results to the indicated primary care provider.
The ideal Patient Care Assistant will possess a strong work ethic to handle both expected and asynchronous duties as assigned. They will be a team player who is eager to learn and willing to adapt to change as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within six (6) months of hire
