Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Davenport, Iowa.
Job Description & Requirements

HIGHLIGHTS:
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS required prior to first shift
- Experience with vents, trachs and drips required
- Minimum two (2) years bedside critical care clinical experience
- Must assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
- 8-13 Week Assignment
MORE INFORMATION:
- Work Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities
- Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission
- Provides patient information and status in a timely manner for the Initial Team Conference and Re-evaluation Team Conferences
- Responsible for accurate, succinct and timely documentation
- Participates in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit
- Initiates discharge planning on all patients from the day of admission
- Communicates all pertinent information regarding changes in patient's status
- Provides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel
- Maintains communication with manager and senior nursing staff
