Job Responsibilities: - Onboarding & Culture - Welcome new hires, run orientations, and manage documentation and system setup to ensure a smooth transition and strong cultural integration.
- Recruitment Support - Partner with managers to post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support ongoing improvements to recruiting processes.
- Employee Relations - Serve as a trusted resource and first point of contact for employee inquiries, help resolve day-to-day HR issues, and promote an inclusive, engaging workplace.
- HR Operations - Maintain accurate HRIS records and support reporting, metrics, and dashboards for leadership.
- Performance Management - Support the review cycle by scheduling, tracking, and documenting evaluations, while guiding employees and managers on performance procedures.
- Compliance & Policies - Ensure HR practices align with labor laws and company policies, assist with updates and training, and support audits and compliance reporting.
Qualifications: - Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with proven expertise across the full HR lifecycle
- Must have experience working in small to mid-sized tech or corporate companies with hands-on ownership of HR programs and operations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite; familiar with platforms like Workday, Insperity, and recruitment ATS tools
- A hands-on doer with a strong work ethic and adaptability
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to work on-site 5 days/week in our NYC office (Financial District)
