2026 Accounting Intern
Description

Responsibilities:
Gain experience and insight into business processes, budgeting, the development of business analysis and reporting.
Assist members of the accounting department in both daily activities and special projects.
Ensure compliance in invoicing processes.
Support flow of documentation for account payables/ accounts receivables for business units and assist in managing and tracking cash results daily to ensure the forecast and AOP metrics are met.
Work in cross functional teams to assign asset tags to missing assets.
Analyze monthly performance as compared to the forecast and budget for responsible areas.
Maintain, support and actively participate in internal control requirements as well as ensuring compliance with policies and GAAP.
Complete asset information within a fixed asset module to ensure accurate tax schedules and reports for year end.
Research and map accounts payable processes and accounts receivable processes and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3.0 GPA or higher
Strong analytical and data mining skills
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to change and navigate ambiguous situations
