We offer benefits as well as 401k.Position Details: Title: Warehouse Associate Position Type: Long Term contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need Job Location: Troy, OH Shift: Shifts 1, 2, and 3 available Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance Compensation: $19-$19.75/HR depending on Shift Job Summary: This is a full-time warehouse position focused on shipping and receiving operations at manufacturing facility in Troy, OH. The role involves accurately documenting warehouse activities and understanding production operations-training will be provided. Ideal candidates may have prior warehouse experience, including forklift operation (sit-down and stand-up), barcoding, BOL creation, and material handling. Ability to work in a cold environment is required. Experience operating a yard tractor to move trailers is a plus. Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in environments ranging from -10°F to 90°F
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate forklifts for 8 to 10 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain food safety and quality standards, including document review and trailer inspections for all incoming/outgoing materials
- Accurately complete required paperwork in accordance with SOPs
- Properly mark and segregate allergenic ingredients
- Rotate raw materials and finished goods using FIFO principles
- Stage production materials according to the schedule
- Operate in a safe manner using required PPE
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Keep work areas clean, sanitary, and safe
- Immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing (or ability to learn on the job)
- Familiarity with food safety and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
