Job Details- Mental Health Coordinator position responsible for planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on review of records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
- Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload.
- Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.
Job Requirements- Five (5) years of clinical experience including two (2) years in a comparable job position.
