$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Description

The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for providing nursing staffing and support for CNO functions at the facility. This role involves assisting the nursing leadership team to ensure safe and adequate staffing on each unit.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for the Nursing department at all times.
  • Provide daily staffing of RNs, LPNs, and MHTs.
  • Process time off requests and ensure coverage for employees taking leave.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews for nursing candidates with the CNO.
  • Manage call-ins and absences, ensuring staffing coverage.
  • Ensure nursing staff training and orientation are current. Provide training and support to enhance staff effectiveness.
  • Produce and store daily staffing sheets.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance, and training.
  • Prepare daily staffing FTE reports for senior management.
  • Review timesheets daily and correct discrepancies for payroll.
  • Coordinate with the CNO to adhere to staffing grids and safety standards.
  • Provide monthly reports on temporary agency usage to the CFO.
  • Maintain up-to-date nursing staff contact lists.
  • Process PAFs for nursing terminations and status changes.
