Job Description

Summary: Invesco seeks a Managing Director based in New York or Los Angeles for its Middle-Market Direct Lending group. This team operates within Invesco's $48 billion Private Credit platform, focusing on private debt investments in middle-market companies, including senior secured loans, second lien loans, junior capital, and equity investments.

Responsibilities:

• Originate and manage financings for senior debt, unitranche, and equity investments.
• Expand private equity relationships and develop new ones.
• Maintain relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and lenders.
• Contribute to due diligence, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Present investment memos and negotiate legal documents.
• Assist with capital raising and mentorship of junior team members.

Experience & Skills:

• 12+ years in credit or private equity roles, preferably in direct lending or private credit.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees like CFA, CPA, MBA preferred.
• Strong market knowledge, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple deadlines.

Compensation: Salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000 plus incentives, depending on experience and location.

Work Details: Full-time, exempt employee with a hybrid work schedule, requiring up to 50% travel.
