This role supports Cencora's specialty technology and insights service marketed through our IntrinsiQ Specialty Solutions business.
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this full-time role is to lead a team of Scientific Liaisons, delivering scientific information to specialty practices, establishing and maintaining relationships with practice leaders, and developing strategic objectives to ensure effective engagement and insights collection. The role involves aligning with IntrinsiQ teams and biopharma partners, discussing critical research and medical information, and facilitating clinical trial efforts to support drug development pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scientific information delivery supporting IntrinsiQ offerings to community specialty practices, aligned with company and partner strategies.
- Develop quarterly and annual goals for the team based on overall company objectives.
- Guide the Science Liaison team in scientific exchange, education, and compliant communication about therapies.
- Enhance understanding of practices and objectives through strong relationships.
- Maintain expertise in oncology and other specialty fields as needed.
- Differentiate IntrinsiQ as a valued partner through innovative initiatives and scientific communication.
- Provide scientific and educational support to internal teams.
- Represent the company at scientific meetings, engaging with physicians and HCP leaders.
- Collaborate closely with IntrinsiQ colleagues and communicate team objectives and performance.
- Lead or participate in special projects as required.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- BA/BS; advanced degree in healthcare preferred.
- Minimum 6 years in a scientific liaison role (MSL, DL, OL) or similar industry experience.
- At least 3 years of management experience overseeing field-based teams.
- Oncology expertise and experience in precision medicine testing and clinical research.
- Proven ability to build and maintain credible physician/HCP relationships nationally.
- Leadership skills in strategy, project management, and operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of medical communication guidelines (PhRMA, OIG).
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical record structures and content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
