All Locations Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States Job Description Overview: Successful candidate will be part of a team that provides Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to a client manufacturing facility. This position works directly with the Safety Team as well as onsite engineers and facility. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical background. This position is full-time onsite. Responsibilities:
- Work with client to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility environmental policies
- Leading/conducting respirator fit testing sessions
- Conducting LOTO assessments
- Confined space evaluations
- Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures
- Sampling events including area noise mapping, personal noise dosimetry, wipe sampling, air monitoring, etc
- Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sampling results management and supply ordering
- Additional responsibilities according to client needs
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
- Prior customer service experience with great interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to balance multiple projects at once
- Possess the ability to follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules
- Previous EHS experience is a plus
