Position Title: Online Thrift Shipping CoordinatorReports To: General Manager Online ThriftDepartment: Shipping/ReceivingFLSA Status: Non-exemptSchedule: Monday to Friday, Day ShiftPosition Purpose and ObjectivesWe are seeking an Online Thrift Shipping Coordinator to join our team at America's Thrift Stores. This role is crucial in ensuring that online orders are efficiently picked, packed, and shipped to our customers. The ideal candidate should have basic computer skills, be comfortable lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, and thrive in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.Roles and Responsibilities* Accurately pick orders from inventory shelves based on invoices, ensuring efficiency.* Securely pack items using appropriate materialsto protect unique and used thrift items during transit.* Utilize shipping software to enter order details, print packing slips, and generate shipping labels, ensuring timelyFedEx pickups.* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while safeguarding inventory throughout the fulfillment process.* Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot order or shipping issues.* Track and replenish packing supplies as needed.* Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies.* Adapt to shifting priorities and workflow changes as required.Skills and Qualifications* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs* Proficiencyin shipping software and basic Microsoft Office skills.* Keep work areas clean and organized.* Work effectively with a diverse team.* Adapt to shifting priorities as needed.* High School Diploma or GED preferred.* Prior experience in packing and shipping, particularly in e-commerce, is a plus.* Successful completion of background check and drug screen.CompetenciesNever- 0%, Occasionally- 1-33%, Frequently- 34-66%, Continuously- 67-100%Physical Demands:* Frequently - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting upto 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handlingand smelling.* Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.* Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.Other:* Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.* Working environment includes inside of building withsemi- controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures.Other duties as assigned: Please note that this job description may not cover every duty or responsibility that might arise in the course of employment.Employees are expected to perform other duties as assigned, which may not be explicitly statedin this document.  This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required ofemployees in this position.
