Unit Description Delaware North operates concessions, clubs, and suites for the NHL's Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center and has been a partner of the Sabres since 1970, the year the team was founded. We manage concession outlets, suites, and clubs, including a members-only fine dining restaurant, at the 19,200-seat arena. Responsibilities
- Supervise team members serving alcohol and ensure compliance with the alcohol service policy
- Observe and document any alcohol-related issues
- Answer questions and make recommendations regarding alcohol service
- Ensure all team members serving alcohol have signed an acknowledgment of the alcohol policy and have a valid serving permit prior to the beginning of work
- Assist with alcohol cut-off
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid, unexpired alcohol pourer's permit required prior to being hired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide feedback and coaching to team members with varied experience levels
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- No college degree required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and downstairs and lifting as the work duties demand
- May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on the season
